Ireland 3 England 2

£200 raised for charity

On a bitterly cold night with temperatures below freezing, Ireland achieved a remarkable victory despite facing numerous challenges. Goalkeeper Dave Corser switched allegiances to England before the game, and top scorer Brendan Mulcahy, nursing a rib injury, could only watch from the sidelines. Honorary Irishman Keith 'Nora' Batty led the team, determined to defy the odds.

Special thanks to everyone involved, as £200 was raised for the Babbs Mill lads. A rematch is on the horizon, and Ireland is confident in maintaining their top-dog status with three O’Dwyers, two Stokes, and the sole John McGinnell in their lineup.
